General News

Subscribers to all matchday programmes throughout Ignition Sports Media’s portfolio will experience a disrupted service over the festive season.

Clubs with home fixtures across Boxing Day, including Manchester City, Southampton and Sheffield United, will not have their latest editions despatched via the usual scheduling timeframes.

Instead, all Boxing Day fixtures will be mailed first class on Thursday 2nd January, but due to the Christmas demands on the Royal Mail’s service these editions may not arrive on doorsteps until later the following week due to the backlog involved.

The same system pressures will also adversely affect fixtures across Sunday 29th December, Monday 30th December, as well as those played on New Year’s Day and on the first weekend of 2025 of the 4th and 5th January. This includes Aston Villa’s editions of the ‘The Aston Villa News & Record’ against Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City, Leeds United against Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City hosting West Ham United and two Sunderland issues of ‘Red & White’ to name but a few.

Programmes across this festive period will aim to mail post-match from Friday 3rd January after the Bank Holidays, but may not arrive until the second week of 2025 at the earliest.

This also affects any Back Orders placed over the festive fortnight and couriered Bulk deliveries.

We apologise to all Ignition Sports Media customers who will have their normal service and subscriptions affected but appreciate your patience with this matter.

During this period email queries will not be answered so please wait until 9th January before chasing missing editions.
