Barnsley host South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United in an EFL Second Round tie, in what is a first meeting in the competition between the two sides since 1983.

The League One side last got the better of their county rivals at Oakwell in 2018 and will be determined to upset their Championship visitors and reach the Third Round of the competition for the first time since 2020/21.
