Birmingham City host Cardiff City for the first time ever in the EFL Cup this August, as the two sides finally come head-to-head in the second round.

The Blues are winless against their Championship rivals in the previous nine meetings, last winning in October 2017, but will hope to get one over the Bluebirds at St. Andrew’s as they aim to reach the third round of the competition for the first time since 2015/16.
