Sale Sharks will relish a first Gallagher Premiership Final appearance for 17 years this May as they face last year’s finalists Saracens at Twickenham.

Table-topping Saracens reserved their place in the end-of-season showdown on Saturday 27th May with a 38-15 win over Northampton Saints, as they reached their seventh finale in 10 years.

Mark McCall’s side are chasing a sixth title - and a first in four years - but will be wary of a Sharks side buoyed after eliminating holders Leicester Tigers in the semi-finals.

The Greater Manchester club advanced onto the capital blockbuster after a 21-13 success, as they attempt to add some long overdue silverware to their mantlepiece after their only Premiership crown was achieved back in 2006.
