North End last faced the Terriers in the prestigious cup competition 71 years ago, so this rare Third Round clash on 6th January 2023 will be something to savour.

The two sides meet on Boxing Day in a league dress rehearsal for this tie, but the hosts will be looking to maintain their impressive home record over Town as the visitors have not won at Deepdale since 1969.
