Wales vs Japan (2026)

Fixtures Date: 07/11/26

Competition: Nations Championship 2026

Wales renew hostilities with Japan in the inaugural Nations Championship this November, as the Brave Blossoms return to Cardiff.

Head to heads with the Southern Hemisphere side have been close encounters at Principality Stadium, with the Dragons winning 33-30 on home soil in 2016, then 24-23 in their most recent face off during the 2025 Autumn International Series.

Steve Tandy’s side lost on the road to South Africa and Argentina in July, after victory in Fiji, and have one win from three outings to date, an identical record to that of their Asian counterparts.

Eddie Jones’ Japan, currently 11th in the world rankings, arrive in CF10 having won two of their previous 13 Test meetings with Wales.

It is sure to be a compelling encounter once again and the WRU have commissioned a commemorative matchday programme for the blockbuster event, full of exclusive content from across the squads that can’t be read anywhere else.

Reserve your copy of this must-have keepsake for £6, plus post and packaging to a UK address, and have it delivered direct to your door.

This 100-page perfect-bound B5 size edition will be despatched on Friday 6th November before the weekend’s Test fixture and should be expected no longer than five working days after the game. Please be aware that this is not a pre-event delivery service.

Overseas deliveries will incur an increased P+P charge, which will be calculated based on the delivery address provided.
