Aston Villa host Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce at Villa Park in October, as the Claret and Blues rub shoulders once again with Europe’s elite in the UEFA Champions League.

Unai Emery’s Europa League winners welcome Ismail Kartal’s side to B6 on Wednesday 14th October for a mouth-watering encounter against Turkey’s most decorated. 

The 28-time Super Lig champions lost 1-0 to Villa in last season’s Europa League league phase, before eventually being eliminated from the competition by Nottingham Forest in a knockout play-off. 

The Istanbul giants boast some familiar faces in their ranks including Romelu Lukaku, Nathan Ake, N’Golo Kante and former Villa loanee Marco Asencio, and will once again prove a tough proposition.

Supporters can pre-order a copy of the club’s official match-day publication ‘The Villa News & Record’ for this blockbuster meeting and have it delivered direct to their door post-match.
