Birmingham City face Premier League Brentford in a first EFL Cup tie between the two sides since 2010.

The Blues progressed on penalties after a late Kevin Phillips equaliser against the Bees in that previous domestic cup encounter and will target a repeat result as they welcome the top-flight side to St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park for a Tuesday night clash.

Chris Davies’ side eliminated Swansea City in the competition’s opening round and will hope home advantage can see them reach the Third Round for the first time since 2016 at the expense of last season’s quarter-finalists.
