Leeds United face German Bundesliga side FC Augsburg in a maiden meeting this summer in a final pre-season friendly at Elland Road.

The Fuggerstadter finished ninth in the Bundesliga last season under Head Coach Manuel Baum and boast some impressive talents in their squad including last season’s leading scorer Michael Gregoritsch, Switzerland star Fabian Rieder and long-serving captain Jeffrey Gouweleeuw.

The Bavarian outfit will provide a stern test for Daniel Farke’s side after the Whites’ tour to the USA and as preparations ahead of the new season are fine-tuned.
