Manchester City are competing in Europe’s top tier of continental competition for a 16th successive season and will welcome Napoli to the Etihad for the second time in as many years in November.

The Blues were 2-0 victors over the Serie A side back in September 2025, with Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku on target in a tie that saw City icon Kevin De Bruyne return to face his former employers.

The 2024/25 Serie A champions finished second in Italy’s top-flight last season but ended the league phase of the Champions League in 30th after two wins from eight outings.

Massimilliano Allegri’s side will be aiming for a better showing in this campaign’s competition and the Italian giants boast plenty of Manchester connections in Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund, as well as returning star Kevin De Bruyne.
