It’s a case of déjà vu in the FA Cup as Manchester City host near neighbours Salford City this February for the second season running.

The Blues, who have won the competition seven times, came out on top in a first-ever meeting between the two sides in last year’s Third Round tie. A James McAtee hat-trick and a brace from Jeremy Doku saw City ease past their cross-city minnows 8-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

The League Two outfit are back for another David vs Goliath style encounter this season, having reached the Fourth Round for the first time in the club’s history following a topsy-turvy 3-2 victory over Swindon Town.

However, despite seeing Pep Guardiola’s men reach this stage with a 10-1 dismantling of Exeter City, Karl Robinson’s Ammies will be dreaming of ‘doing a Macclesfield’ and upsetting the odds. 

Supporters can pre-order a copy of the club’s official match-day publication ‘City’ for this all-Manchester cup meeting and have it delivered direct to their door.

This B5 size 52pp perfect-bound issue will be sent by Royal Mail on Friday 13th February and should be expected no longer than five working days after the game. Any orders subsequently placed after the fixture has happened will aim to be despatched within three working days.
