Modern-day Sheffield United legend Chris Basham will lead out a Blades 2016/17 select team against Sky Sports, plus guests, in this Big Charity Bash fixture.

As well as giving the Bramall Lane faithful the chance to show their appreciation to the 36-year-old for his decade-long service to the club, it will also be an opportunity to raise valuable funds for local charity the Weston Park Scanner Appeal.

Basham, who amassed 394 appearances for the South Yorkshire side between 2014 and 2024, will join some of his former team-mates from the 2016/17 League One title-winning campaign in May, overseen by Blades boss Chris Wilder in the dug-out.

Bash will lead out a side consisting of Billy Sharp, John Fleck, Paul Coutts and Jack O’Connell, to name but a few, and will face a Sky Sports team including famous names and local celebrities and musicians.

This A5-size 36-page programme will be sent by Royal Mail on Friday 2nd May, and delivery should be expected no longer than five working days after the fixture. This is not a pre-event delivery service.

The price for this edition is £3, plus post and packaging to a UK address, although this issue is not part of the full season subscription package.
