Derby County marked their first game in the third-tier of English football for 36 years by relaunching their beloved matchday programme ‘The Ram’ alongside Ignition Sports Media.
After two campaigns of producing a monthly magazine, a rammed Pride Park relished the opportunity to pick up the club’s official A5 size edition once again for Oxford United’s first-ever visit to the stadium.
The 52-page perfect bound programme proved a real sought-after item, with supporters getting stuck into an exclusive interview from new owner David Clowes, as well as introductions to the summer recruits and an insight from new manager Liam Rosenior.
DCFC’s Senior Communications Officer Tom Loakes was delighted with the response from supporters, saying: “We were overwhelmed with the reception that reintroducing ‘The Ram’ has had with our fanbase. There was a real appetite to get hold of a copy of the programme on the opening day and some really positive feedback online post-match, so we hope supporters back the programme as passionately as they do the players on matchday for the remainder of the campaign.”
